What is PEAP?

The Partner Employment Assistance Program (PEAP) is an Australian Defence initiative that provides funding to help Defence partners and spouses prepare for meaningful employment. Postings are NO longer a prerequisite!

 

Each July 1st, you can access up to $1,500 for approved services. You can use PEAP for:

  • Resume, cover letters, and job applications (written for you)

  • APS selection criteria

  • Career and confidence coaching

  • Interview preparation

  • LinkedIn optimisation and job-search strategy

  • Support during career transitions or postings

 

PEAP exists alongside my support, so you can continue building your career, confidence, and identity in Defence life, no matter where it takes you.

Funding & eligibility

PEAP funding: simple, fast and partner-focused.​

​PEAP is designed to make accessing support easy.
 

Defence partners complete the entire process within days.

 

How it works:

  1. Book your career chat. We’ll discuss your goals, eligibility and how PEAP funding will support your next step. 

  2. Submit your PEAP application online. It takes 2 minutes with your partner's PMKeys number.

  3. Approval email confirmation within 24-48 hours.

  4. You pay me directly so we can begin immediately, no waiting.

  5. You’re reimbursed quickly (typically within three business days).

 

You only need to apply once - your approval carries over to future financial years. Note: You can access PEAP funding every financial year, even if you’ve used it before.
