Career support for serving Defence members and veterans - built on lived Defence experience.

Practical, confidential and Defence-informed guidance to help you civilianise your skills, strengthen your professional identity and move forward with clarity and confidence.

A lifetime connected to Defence - and a deep understanding of military transition.

My Defence connection spans my life - as a Defence daughter, an ex-serving member, a Defence spouse for 26 years, and now a Defence mum.

I understand the culture, the structure, the expectations and the identity shifts that come with every chapter of service.

I also understand the uncertainty that comes with transition - whether you’re preparing to discharge, exploring new pathways, or navigating civilian employment after leaving the Australian Defence Force (ADF).

With recruitment experience developed within the APS and the mining industry, I bring a practical, insider-level understanding of what civilian employers look for - and how to position your military expertise in language they immediately understand.

Funding support (eligibility checked).

Transitioning members (within four months of discharge date) and veterans may be eligible for funded career support through a veteran-focused employment initiative I work with.

This support may cover:

  • resume development

  • civilianisation

  • job search support

  • interview coaching

  • APS application guidance

Eligibility varies, and I will guide you through the process and next steps.

How I support serving members & veterans

Clear, direct and structured support - tailored to military experience.

If you're still serving, I can help you prepare early - before discharge.

Transition is smoother when preparation starts early. I support serving members with:

  • Identifying suitable civilian and APS roles

  • Translating rank-specific responsibilities into modern language

  • Building a strong resume before separation

  • Understanding job families and APS classifications

  • Targeted upskilling recommendations

  • Interview preparation for when you begin applying

  • Confidence coaching around identity and direction

You don’t need to wait until your transition paperwork is underway.

Early preparation gives you control, clarity and confidence.

If you’ve already discharged, I will help you rebuild direction and confidence.

Veterans often underestimate the value of their service - and struggle to articulate it in a civilian context. Many also experience uncertainty, loss of identity or lack of clarity long after transitioning.

I help veterans:

  • rebuild professional identity

  • understand and articulate their strengths

  • civilianise and modernise past experience

  • target meaningful career pathways

  • prepare for APS, state gov or private sector roles

  • craft strong selection criteria

  • regain confidence in interviews

  • step forward with clarity and purpose

Your service is a strength - and I ensure employers understand it.
