Hi, I'm Kath!
I am passionate about delivering optimum service to my clientele.

My dedication to my clients and the local community were formally recognised in 2022 when I was awarded the City of Ipswich 2022 Business Excellence Awards for Customer Service. I was nominated for five categories in total which in itself was mind-blowing.

I am so proud to have been awarded such a prestigious award as I had only been in business less than two years with some fierce competition!

I am a busy mum to our teenage son and have a loving and supportive husband who always makes me laugh. We love the Queensland lifestyle, travelling particularly overseas and exploring new cultures and history.

I am renowned for supporting Defence members in successfully transitioning into civilian industry by identifying their transferrable skills and highlighting their relevant industry experience. I work with Defence spouses who are seeking employment after raising their children, needing new employment due to posting, or a change in career path. I assist women and students regain their confidence, recognise their achievements and put their best selves forward while job seeking.

With over 20 years of customer service experience, my passion for helping others and my love for recruitment drove me to create my business, Sorted by Kath Pty Ltd, in 2020 and I feel blessed everyday doing what I love - helping others!

I started my recruitment career by writing advertisements, shortlisting resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding successful candidates with the Department of Defence and then moved into the mining industry.

Having reviewed and shortlisted thousands of resumes, I know how important it is to have a stand-out resume that you feel proud to put forward. It is your personal and professional story for your potential future employer to consider you the right fit for their business.
